About the DEI Ambassador Role:
As a DEI Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to:
- Serve as a Resource and Community Builder
Act as a key liaison for current and prospective students, faculty, staff, and alumni on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics. Your role will be crucial in fostering a supportive and inclusive community. - Promote DEI Initiatives
Engage with peers to address issues of visibility and access, contributing to the development and implementation of DEI initiatives within the school and beyond. - Contribute to an Inclusive Environment
Support the Office of Diversity and Inclusion by participating in and promoting activities that advance our mission of creating an equitable and inclusive environment.
Commitment
Students selected for the DEI Ambassador position must commit to serving for a full academic school year. For those interested, and if applicable, there is also a possibility of extending the role into the summer.

Who can apply?
The DEI Ambassador Program is open to all public health students (undergraduate or graduate) committed to enhancing visibility, access, and support for underrepresented and historically marginalized communities within our school and the surrounding community.
