The School of Public Health offers scholarly opportunities for undergraduate and graduate level students.
Many researchers in the School of Public Health investigate the health disparities experienced by socially disadvantaged populations. Ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, age, disability, socioeconomic status, and geographic location all impact an individual’s ability to achieve good health.
The “Creating a B.R.A.V.E. Space for Conversations About Race” workshop is designed to equip you with essential skills for discussing race and racism effectively and inclusively.
Engage in team-building activities, listening sessions, and strategic planning to support and create new initiatives for our underrepresented faculty.
Open to all staff, faculty, & students who are interested in or currently working on research & education that impacts the LGBTQIA+ Community.
A safe and confidential space for members of the SPH community to discuss relevant issues primarily pertaining to, but not limited to, diversity and inclusion.
The DEI Ambassador Program enhances visibility, access, and support for underrepresented and historically marginalized communities within our school and the surrounding area.
