Originally from Fort Pierce, Florida, she earned her B.S. in Health Science from Howard University. As a DEI student ambassador at the Brown University School of Public Health, Monica is passionate about uplifting underrepresented voices and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard. As a first-generation student and a Black woman from humble beginnings, she understands the transformative power of education and the importance of ensuring equitable access and representation in public health, inspiring her to advocate for change and support others on their journeys.

As a DEI Student Ambassador, Abby is passionate about serving as a liaison between the School of Public Health, the community, and prospective students. She is committed to fostering connections, creating an inclusive environment, and ensuring that all students feel supported and represented within the School of Public Health.

  • Rayor

    Lily Rayor

MPH Student in Applied Epidemiology, Community Advocate

A first-year student specializing in applied epidemiology. Growing up on the West Coast and earning her undergraduate degree from Western Washington University, she developed a passion for health inspired by her mother, a nurse. Her diverse experiences include teaching preschoolers, organizing mutual aid for those facing homelessness, and providing education to mental health professionals. Recently, Lily began a clinical research assistantship. As a BIPOC and queer woman, her approach to public health emphasizes equity and community building. She looks forward to collaborating with fellow students committed to creating positive institutional change.

  • Sales

    Sarai Sales

MPH Epidemiology Student, Health Equity Scholar

As a first-year student, Sarai is deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). She brings valuable experience from her role as a Specialty Programs and Diversity Coordinator, where she developed STEM programs for underrepresented students and designed curricula for those interested in pediatric research. Her research focuses on implementing health equity models in primary care and addressing perinatal health disparities. As a DEI Student Ambassador, Sarai aims to foster inclusivity and connect students with vital resources within the School of Public Health.
