Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

SPH Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We continually strive to find new ways to advance diversity and inclusion in a manner that serves every member of our school and the communities with whom we work.

SPH Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We continually strive to find new ways to advance diversity and inclusion in a manner that serves every member of our school and the communities with whom we work.

Our mission at the School of Public Health is to advance health as a human right for all. Building a diverse and inclusive school is central to this mission and to our commitment to serve the community, the nation and the world. Bringing together students, faculty and staff with a range of life experiences creates a dynamic community that offers the contrasting perspectives and ideas needed for public health innovation.

At Brown, each student brings their dynamic background and personal experience to their studies. Fostering their educational journey is about supporting them and giving them permission to express themselves, find their voices and challenge the status quo. And by training a new, diverse generation of public health leaders, we are investing in better health outcomes for communities across the globe.

We continually strive to find new ways to advance diversity and inclusion in a manner that serves every member of our school and the communities with whom we work.

We invite you to join us in shaping and advancing this vision for improving diversity and inclusion.
